Treat yourself!

This is the season to buy gifts, celebrate and make your loved ones smile. It’s crowded in the shops in town as people run to find the perfect gifts and you’re attending different Christmas parties with workmates and friends. Lots of duties on your schedule during the season you should be calm and thankful for every pleasure you have.
To make you feel more comfortable you should pamper yourself with really good stuff and use your free minutes to drink a good quality tea, treat your hands with an ultra rich hand cream, celebrate your morning showers with heavenly smelling shower gel and body cream and infuse your home with great scents.
To make this moments more worthy I have to recommend a brand named Rituals Home & Body Treatments. I love the smell of their whole product range and that is a thing that never happened to me as I’m usually really picky and just tend to like one or two smells. But these ones are all amazing!
Anyhow I picked most products in Cherry Blossom & Rice Milk. The candle is Fresh Fig & Copaiba and the anti-perspiant is White Lotus scented.
Rituals uses natural, renewable and organic ingredients for their products and isn’t tested on animals.

Let me show you what I bought for myself. A lovely duo with hand wash and hand lotion to position next to your sink. Great idea. They also provided cute little trays to arrange the bottles on but my space next to the sink is limited so I haven’t bought one.   To get to know the different products I picked some travel sized(actually not that small, a fair size I think) bottles to figure out what I like.
The Magic Touch cream is so easy to love. My hands feel so soft and I want to touch my hands all the time, can’t stop!
I will try the other products as soon as I can but I’m very sure I will love them, too.

Cocooning

A huge trend that I recognized the last years turning up and getting bigger and bigger especially during fall and winter season is the cocooning.

And what is it you’re asking? Well imagine you’re a little caterpillar snuggling up in soft and cosy materials having a great time and hanging out just like pupated . You’re waiting to turn into a beautiful butterfly after retreating from the busy world outside recharging your batteries.

Now and then I need this little time out for myself. Don’t get me wrong I loved to got out, meeting friends and party but honestly as much as often as I enjoy being social I like to stay at home with my husband having a cuddly evening, treating us with delicious food, lighting candles, sipping some wine or tea and read something or watch a good movie.

When I’m on my own I really like to do some beauty rituals, taking long a bubble baths, manicure, pedicure, facial masks…the whole program. It’s just a girl thing. Do you agree?

Sorry for being MIA and thinking about going ombre this fall

Sorry, I have been missing in action for quite some time but a black hole named work had sucked me in and spat me out in the evenings crushing on the sofa without any energy left.

So now I have a few days off and I am trying to be back for good.

Though summer has arrived the last days I am getting really excited for fall to come. There are a lot new colors to explore and styles to try.

To start off the new season I try to be brave and change my hairstyle a bit. As far as I can think back to when I was around 14 I wore my hair with different shades of blonde highlights…sometimes lighter sometimes darker, just once had a brown intermezzo that was not very satisfying. But now I found a style that I like to give a try. OMBRE.

I picked some photos from Pinterest as an inspiration to show to my stylist. So my appointment is on Saturday to discuss my plans. Oh, I am really excited to change my look! Honestly I am taken wrong so many times because the people often just see the cute and lovely Blondie. I turned 25 last Saturday and it’s time for a change.
